Rabbi Yisroel Weiss lives with his family in Staten Island New York. He is a Talmid of, and shares a close personal relationship with, HaRav HaGaon Reb Reuven Feinstein shlit”a, son of the late Gadol Hador HaRav HaGaon Reb Moshe Feinstein ztvk”l. Rabbi Weiss has been affiliated with Yeshiva Staten Island for over thirty years. He spends his days learning and teaching Torah, both online, as well as in person. He teaches both one on one, and by giving group shiurim on such topics as Daf Yomi, Mishnah Berurah (Dirshu B’Halachah), Tehillim, Pirkei Avos, Tefillah (prayer) and more. Rabbi Weiss is also a published author who has contributed to various Artscroll publications (Chinuch, Mishnah Elucidated, Daily Dose of Torah Series and more). He most recently published Divrei Sholom, an English language sefer containing a collection of Rav Reuven Feinstein’s lectures on matters pertaining to the struggles of everyday life in contemporary times.
