Mesillas Yesharim

Mesillas Yesharim (Way of the Upright) by Rabbi Moshe Chaim Luzzatto (1707-1747) is accepted as the most fundamental of the sifrei mussar. Rav Chaim of Volozhin is quoted as saying “All mussar works are good to learn, but you should be guided by Mesillas Yesharim.”

Mesillas Yesharim provides the reader with a roadmap to personal growth in avodas Hashem and character development. While there is no substitute for studying Mesillas Yesharim word by word from the sefer, it is my hope that with these video shiurim I can provide the listener with at least some of the profound lessons we can draw from these holy pages.
